Taxonomy

Tags are a cross-cutting classification layer, separate from folders (ownership/domain) and links (relationships). Keep them controlled and relatively sparse.

Rules

• Only add a new tag when none of the existing tags adequately describe the category.
• Avoid synonymous duplicates, e.g. do not add artificial-intelligence or ia alongside ai — pick one canonical spelling and use it everywhere.
• Tags describe broad classification. Use [[wikilinks]] instead of a tag when you mean a specific, identifiable entity, project, concept, company, or person.
• When you do add a tag, add it here so it stays discoverable and controlled.
